Italian Giant, Automobile Club Italia (ACI) Signs Up with Datatrak Solutions Ltd*
ACI Informatica, a subsidiary of Italian giant ACI (Automobile Club Italia) and Datatrak Solutions Ltd, a subsidiary of Datatrak Holdings plc, recently announced a strategic partnership covering the Italian territory.
Details of the Strategic Partnership were revealed by Datatraks Chief Officer for Strategy and Business Development, Mr Reuben Portanier, where Mr Portanier highlighted that the Strategic Partnership will initially see ACI Informatica being one of the Platinum Marketing Channel Partners for Italy. Mr Portanier added that having such an important player such as ACI Informatica does not only add value to Datatraks marketing efforts in Italy, but also brings with it one of the strongest brands in the automotive Italian market.
With over 30 years experience in large projects for the Italian Public Administration, ACI Informatica manages large volumes of data over its dark fibre network, relating to the Italian Vehicle Public Registry and the Motor Vehicle Licences. Moreover, ACI Informatica develops advanced technologies for its mother and sister companies in the ACI Group which counts over 1.2 million members served by over 6,000 contact points across Italy. In the last years, ACI also focused on introducing to the Italian Market Innovative Info-Mobility Solutions such as those developed by Datatrak Solutions Ltd and has also successfully deployed intelligent transport management systems across the Italian Peninsula based on velocity sensors which allow traffic management control centres to measure the traffic flows across the Italian main roads and motorways and identify traffic congestions.
ACI Informatica employs more than 450 ICT specialists and has four offices in Rome and Turin. The Strategic Partnership signed with Datatrak will see ACI Informatica offering Datatraks Fleet Management Solutions, TrakIT DispatchIT and RouteIT, packaged within the ACI offering.
